Itinerary

Day 1

Departing in the evening we travel overnight to Paris. Enjoy the facilities on board our luxury coach and get to know your guide and travel companions. En route there will be a couple of stops for you to freshen up, buy refreshments and change money.

Day 2

We arrive in Paris in the early morning for a panoramic coach and walking tour of the famous sights including Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Trocadero , Arc De Triomphe, Opera and Place De La Concorde . We tak a walk along the River Seine and have the opportunity to see the Mona Lisa at the Louvre.

Day 3

After a delicious French buffet breakfast we check out of our hotel. You can then enjoy a free day in Paris or join us on the optional tour to Versailles & Montmartre. We depart Paris about 15.30hrs arriving back home in the late evening.

We travel to beautiful Versailles where we see the amazing Chateau and enjoy the wonderful gardens (includes admission to the Grande Eaux Musicales on selected dates in the summer). The Versailles weekend market is a must for food lovers ! We continue to Montmartre, for spectacular views of Paris' skyline and an opportunity to see the world famous Moulin Rouge.

The IBIS Hotel in Champs-sur-Marne, close to Disneyland Resort Paris and next to Noisy-Champs Station, which takes you to central Paris in 20 mins on the RER line A. Our tours consist of a majority of walking tours of moderate pace with early morning departures and some late night arrivals to the accommodation. Tours can be busy and full of activity; therefore we recommend taking care of your health, eating plenty of food rich in vitamins and drink enough water to maintain hydration.
You should bring enough medication with you if you take medicine(s) daily. It may be difficult to find doctor’s prescription if you are not a EU citizen, it may also come at a extra cost. You will need to check with your travel insurance if medicines are covered in your policy.
Bring an emergency prescription from your doctor if by any chance, you lose some of your medicine during the trip. Small supplies of painkillers, plasters, cough medicine, etc. may be advisable to bring during the tour. The coach will be equipped with a first aid kit which can only be used in emergencies.

In most destinations being visited, you will have free time available to explore on your own. In some tours, we offer optional activities that you can join.

Some European countries issue a National Identity card, which can be used as a travel document throughout the EU. If you are not sure if you require or not a passport, please check with your country’s immigration office and make sure you have the right documentation to travel in Europe.
UK Nationals can only travel with a valid passport in the EU.
Non-EU Nationals will require a passport, which has a minimum validity of six (6) months and has several blank pages.

Some nationalities require a visa (Schengen Visa) to travel in the Schengen Area. Every country being visited in this tour is part of the Schengen Area agreement. If you are travelling from outside the EU and start the tour in London, you may also require a UK Visitor Visa, please check if you require a UK visa to be able to join the tour in London.

It is your responsibility to acquire the necessary visas to travel within the EU.

We recommend you to carry two photocopies of your passport. One kept with you at all times and one with your luggage. We also recommend keeping your passport in a safe place. If your luggage does not have any locks, we recommend to not store any valuables in your luggage. We accept no responsibility for any damages, loss of passport or personal items. Travellers will carry the responsibility of any costs that may incur from loss of documentation such as transport, extra hotel nights, embassy charges, etc.

Some countries such as the UK are part of the EU but not part of the Schengen area agreement. You may need to acquire more than one visa for this tour.

You will be able to purchase adapters online, travel and gadget shops and airports. It is recommended to bring an adapter with you from the start of the trip as they can be quite expensive on the highstreets!
 
All travellers require travel insurance while on tour with Indigo Travel. Passengers are responsible for acquiring the required travel insurance that needs to be valid during the tour dates. Travel Insurance needs to cover medical expenses including: repatriation, cancellation, loss or damage to baggage and personal belongings, money and public liability. Please keep this number safe at all times during the tour to be able to contatc your guide. We also advise to save the tour guide's number on your phone for safe keeping.
